Job Description

​Assistant HR Manager at a Well-known Tech Retail and Service Company in Yangon, Myanmar

  • To support the HR Manager in implementing HR strategies and operational functions that align with the company’s business objectives

  • Up to 1,500,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

This role requires to assist in managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and HR administration to ensure smooth HR operations within the company

About the Company

Our client company continues to expand, with business strategies aimed at growing its distribution, retail, and enterprise service units

Description

  • Assist in the full recruitment cycle: job posting, screening, interviewing coordination, and onboarding of new hires

  • Support employee relations by addressing staff queries, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive work environment

  • Help coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases ensuring confidentiality and compliance with labor laws

  • Assist in payroll processing by tracking attendance, leaves, and benefits administration

  • Support performance appraisal processes and facilitate communication between management and staff

  • Help ensure compliance with Myanmar labor laws and company policies

  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational initiatives and HR projects

  • Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review

  • Participate in HR policy development and implementation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in HR or administrative roles, preferably in retail, service, or technology sectors

  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, policies, and administrative tasks

  • Good understanding of Myanmar labor laws and HR best practices

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Burmese (verbal and written)
