HR Manager at a Leading Food and Beverage Company in Yangon, Myanmar

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives in food and beverage production and distribution

Our client is expanded to multiple branches across Myanmar, including Yangon, and provide quality standards to maintain freshness and consumer trust

The Role

This role is required to manage recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes for various departments including manufacturing, sales, and logistics

Description

  • Oversee employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment

  • Design and administer employee benefits, payroll, and performance appraisal systems suited to industry norms

  • Ensure compliance with Myanmar labor laws and industry regulations specific to food and beverage operations

  • Lead training and development programs to enhance staff skills, particularly in compliance, safety, and quality standards

  • Collaborate with management on organizational development and workforce planning to meet production and distribution targets

  • Monitor and report HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee engagement

  • Promote health, safety, and welfare practices essential for food industry workplaces

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of proven HR management experience, preferably in the food and beverage or FMCG sector in Myanmar

  • Experience handling multi-departmental HR functions including recruitment, labor law compliance, and employee development

  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar labor laws and food safety regulations impacting workforce management

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills in English and Burmese

  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced manufacturing or distribution settings

  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications

  • Leadership ability to drive team performance and foster a collaborative workplace culture
