Admin Officer (Chinese Speaking) at Power Generation Company in Yangon, Myanmar

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting daily office operations, facilitating cross-cultural communication, and ensuring the administrative side of the business runs efficiently

 Our client is a well-established energy infrastructure company operating across Myanmar, specializing in power generation and distributed energy solutions. With a multinational team and operations spanning multiple regions, they bring innovation, technical expertise, and efficiency to Myanmar’s energy sector.

 Description

  • Act as a bridge between Chinese-speaking managers and local staff, supporting translation and coordination

  • Handle daily office administrative tasks: documentation, travel arrangements, meeting organization, and facility management

  • Prepare and translate business letters, memos, and official documents between Chinese and English/Burmese

  • Coordinate logistics for visiting teams and international staff (accommodation, transportation, etc.)

  • Monitor office supplies, manage vendors, and ensure smooth operation of office equipment

  • Assist in internal communications and help maintain a positive and efficient work environment

  • Report directly to Admin Manager or Chinese-speaking management team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chinese Language, or related field

  • Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) – both written and spoken

  • Good command of English and Burmese

  • Minimum 1 years of admin or office support experience in an international or joint venture company

  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management

  • Confident using MS Office and common admin tools

  • Able to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, multicultural team
