HR and Admin Manager at a Leading Logistics Company in Yangon, Myanmar.

  • Lead and manage the full spectrum of HR and administrative functions

  • Up to 3,000,000 MMK + Ferry + Meal Allowance 

The Role

This role is responsible for leading and managing the Human Resources and Administration functions of a growing logistics company. You will oversee recruitment, compliance, employee engagement, training, and office management

 Description

  • Oversee full HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance with local labor laws

  • Handle administrative operations, including office maintenance, asset management, and vendor coordination

  • Supervise payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement in compliance with regulations

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation is complete and secure

  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance staff skills and retention

  • Act as the main point of contact for labor law compliance, SSB matters, and DOL inspections

  • Manage HR budgeting and cost control in coordination with finance

  • Support leadership in creating a positive work environment and corporate culture

  • Lead HR audits and support internal/external audit processes related to personnel

Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in human resources bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or HR certifications preferred)

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role

  • Strong knowledge of Myanmar labor laws, SSB regulations, and employment standards

  • Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or trading industries is highly preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Burmese and English

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems

  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a small HR/Admin team
