The Role

The ideal candidate's background for the role comes from extensive hands-on experience in driving the commercial function of heavy machinery unit by leveraging dealers’ management and direct sales development. Strong understanding of the agriculture market culture and dynamic to lead the sales team

Description

  • Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals to drive sales and market growth

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape

  • Sales Management: Oversee the sales team, set sales targets, and monitor performance to achieve revenue goals

  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners

  • Product Management: Ensure the product portfolio meets market needs and customer expectations

  • Budget Management: Manage commercial budgets, forecast sales, and control expenditures to ensure profitability

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability

  • Compliance: Ensure all commercial activities comply with local regulations and company policies

  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on commercial performance, market conditions, and strategic initiatives for senior management

Requirements

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering, Business or related field required. Advanced degree in Business or related field preferred

  • At least 10 years’ experience in leading a sales team in heavy machinery business and have successful track record of sales achievements

  • Significant experience required, including supervisory, product, customer, pricing and sales strategies

  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
