​Deputy Head of Finance at a Well-known Financial Services Company in Yangon

  • Responsible for supporting the Head of Finance in overseeing the financial management of the organization. This includes strategic financial planning, performance analysis, regulatory compliance, and reporting.

  • Up to 3,500,000 MMK plus other allowances

Our client is a Financial Services company which is mainly providing the best practices of financial products to the customers in Myanmar.

Description

  • Assist the Head of Finance in overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support strategic business initiatives, pricing decisions, product development, and capital planning.

  • Lead the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

  • Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions.

  • Collaborate across teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.

  • Supervise and mentor junior finance team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is required.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with 3 years in Financial Planning and Analysis, preferably within the banking and financial services sector.

  • Proven leadership and team management experience.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of integrity, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Proficient in financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms)
