Lead and optimize supply chain strategy for a large, diversified group

The Role
This is a senior leadership role for a highly experienced supply chain professional ready to drive strategic planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution operations. The role combines big-picture strategy with hands-on leadership to support business growth and operational excellence

The Role
Lead the design and execution of end-to-end supply chain strategies that align with the group’s long-term growth goals
Manage procurement planning, supplier sourcing, and contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing and quality materials
Oversee logistics operations, including import/export procedures, warehousing, transportation, and last-mile distribution
Build and maintain productive partnerships with key suppliers, shipping lines, clearing agents, and relevant government authorities
Develop and enforce systems for accurate inventory control, stock monitoring, and demand forecasting
Drive ERP and supply chain management tools to streamline reporting, improve planning accuracy, and increase transparency
Guide the team to implement best practices in cost optimization, process efficiency, and risk management
Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, production, and finance teams to align supply chain activities with commercial targets and market trends
Oversee compliance with customs, trade, and safety regulations, ensuring timely clearance and delivery
Lead regular performance reviews, analyze operational KPIs, and present improvement recommendations to senior leadership
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and capability development within the supply chain department
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Business Management (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or order fulfillment in multinational or complex business environments
Experience in managing import/export documentation and customs clearance
Strong leadership skills with a proven record in building, training, and managing supply chain teams
Experience driving organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives
Proficiency with ERP and supply chain management software
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high work quality
Willingness to travel as required
