Job Description
Senior System Administrator at a Well-known Financial Services Company in Yangon
Building, designing, and deploying end-user workstations and servers in Windows and Linux platforms
Up to 1,300,000 MMK and other allowances
The Role
Design, layout, and deploy Server and Storage environments for both physical and virtual infrastructures (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Architect and implement complex Active Directory environments (Windows Server 2016 and above), with a focus on cross-domain functionality, GPO-driven policies, user/group management, and file server management
Recommend and implement server software maintenance, patching, and performance tuning to optimize performance and ensure high availability
Coordinate updates, outages, maintenance, and other service-impacting activities to minimize disruption to critical systems
Ensure robust security and protection for servers, network systems, and end-user PCs
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology/ or qualification in similar discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in System Administration and Engineering
Extensive hands-on experience with Firewalls, VLANs, SD-WAN, Endpoints, and VPNs
Strong knowledge in configuration is essential
Proficient with SAN, NAS, and LTO storage solutions
Advanced knowledge of cloud computing services, including AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure, is preferred
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud infrastructure deployment and administration is a plus
