  • Responsible to manage the overseas direct procurement function

The Role

The ideal candidate's background for the role comes with experience in managing overseas direct procurement functions and manage M&E related products. Individual with clear understanding about the full purchase process from start to end

About the company

Our client is one of the leading MEP services provider and authorized distributor of international elevator brand business in Myanmar

Description

  • Support operational projects through sending inquiries, collecting price and technical data from suppliers

  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers

  • Working with an assistant manager for cost calculation and feedback to requesters

  • Reviewing, comparing and analyzing products and services to be purchased

  • Accurately and timely complete SAP system entries for purchase requests and purchases orders

  • Managing purchase orders, overseeing delivery schedules and maintaining purchase records

  • Handling suppliers’ payment process by coordinating with finance department

  • Conducting warranty claims process by coordinating with suppliers and users

  • Working with the store department to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies

  • To support prompt action for material arrival, the pricing and complaints to the internal teams

  • Maintaining good communication and negotiation skills with internal teams and external suppliers

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Any bachelor's degree

  • At least 2 years of working experience in a purchasing position

  • Intermediate English level in English 4 skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office

  • Experience in using SAP software would be an advantage

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills

  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Attention to details

  • Ability to work at minimal supervision
