Oracle Database Administrator at an International Telecom Services Company in Yangon

  • Create and maintain all databases, database users and objects required for all usages including development, testing, training and production

  • Up to 2,500,000 MMK plus other benefits

About the Company

Our client is an international telecom services company in Myanmar to provide innovative Information and Communication Technology solutions and services

The Role

  • Performs ongoing tuning of the database instances

  • Design the physical Oracle databases with performance and security consideration

  • Performs the capacity and growth planning

  • Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database

  • Write database procedures, functions and triggers

  • Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) or Information Technology

  • In-depth knowledge/certification of Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g and later releases with production support experience in a multi-project environment

  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL including tuning

  • Good understanding of the Oracle database, related utilities and tools

  • Experience with Unix/Linux in a multi-domain environment including basic commands and shell scripting

  • In-depth knowledge/certification of Oracle related products and tools

  • Fluent, written, and good communication skills in English
