Great Opportunity for a motivated and well-experienced Operations Manager role who has experience in insurance operational management skills, strong analytical skills, strategic planning, and effective communication to facilitate cross-functional collaboration

Our client is an International Financial Services Company that is providing the global health insurance services & products in Myanmar and Asia Pacific Regions

Description

  • Assist Shared Services leadership with strategic planning, staffing, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, resource management, and problem resolution

  • Identify and remove operational obstacles that hinder efficiency and execution

  • Oversee both existing and new claims-related programs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and engage in quality control initiatives

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data or processes to pinpoint local issues, trends, and opportunities, present findings, options, and recommendations to leadership

  • Manage projects that may involve extensive research and analysis

  • Help ensure compliance with Internal Audit and State regulations, including key controls and other relevant standards

  • Participate in cross-functional teams, keeping leadership informed about ongoing activities and their impacts

  • Coordinate and assist in organizing training workshops and programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a relevant field

  • Strong understanding of claims or underwriting operations, including knowledge of insurance products, claims policies and procedures, and related systems/technologies

  • Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to identify key issues and creatively address internal challenges and obstacle

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and competent decision-making abilities

  • Familiarity with general business software and a demonstrated aptitude for learning new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required

  • Capable of working independently without supervision as well as collaboratively within a team

  • Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately
