• Up to 2,500,000 MMK plus other allowances

The Role

MS SQL Database Administrator is responsible for installation, configuration, monitoring and maintaining MSSQL databases in production and non-production cluster environments, including DR and patching activity

Description

• Responsible for responding to and analyzing high severity calls, working to resolution and providing root cause analysis

• Planning and implementing proactive measures for reducing the down time for production environment, as well as capacity management activity and reporting

• Database administration for off the shelf and internally developed applications, ensuring continuous 24x7 operation and availability in support of mission critical business applications

• Provide technical expertise and hands-on support in consolidation and migration of databases to new hardware and platforms

• Database upgrade, migration on cluster environment with all HA feature

• Troubleshoot the issues on production as part of L3 support

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) or Information Technology

• Minimum 6 years of real time production support Experience in core database administration

• Strong trouble shooting skills on Cluster & DR Environment

• Strong experience on high availability on Cluster & DR Environment

• Good English oral and written communication skills

• Preference will be given if good knowledge and experience in other Technologies like Oracle RDBMS administration

• Oracle Database Administration, RAC knowledge and experience preferred

• Excellent in communication English communication

• MySQL Administration knowledge preferred
