Description
Conduct thorough market research in the marine sector to identify customer needs, business opportunities, and potential threats. Align findings with the business plan to develop new marine-related business ventures
Initiate meetings with potential customers to present detailed quotations outlining tailored solutions and accurate pricing, aiming to secure sales by demonstrating value and effectively addressing customer requirements
Gather customer feedback through surveys and interviews to inform product development and enhance service offerings, utilizing insights to improve overall service performance
Strengthen customer relationships through regular engagement activities aimed at improving retention rates and fostering long-term loyalty
Regularly evaluate visit plans, action items, and target reports to ensure alignment with monthly sales targets and budgetary goals
Communicate information accurately and promptly to internal and external stakeholders (customers, principals) to meet Key Performance Indicators and enhance customer satisfaction. Adhere to standard operating procedures to maintain consistent service quality and drive quality improvement initiatives
Contribute to organizational improvement efforts by suggesting changes that enhance marine products, services, and operational processes
Requirements
Requires a minimum of 3 years field sales in freight forwarding
3-5 year of Sales Experience (international logistics sales, preferred)
Preferred experience in Freight Forwarding & logistics companies as related
Experience with logistics processes, systems and solutions
Solid PC operational knowledge along with Microsoft Office applications experience
Knowledge of international commercial transportation (air and ocean freight would be an added qualification)
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with related diploma
Outgoing, upbeat and resourceful personality
