To manage and oversee the legal affairs of the company, ensuring that all business activities comply with laws and regulations while mitigating risks

The role needs to provide the smooth operation and legal integrity of a company. And legal head must provide the legal advice as strategic partners, ensuring that the business navigates the complexities of the legal landscape effectively
My client business activities are oil palm cultivation, edible oils refining, oilseeds crushing, biodiesel manufacturing, and sugar milling and refining
Description
Providing legal advice on a wide range of issues, including corporate governance, compliance, contracts, intellectual property, Labor and employment, and regulatory matters
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements to protect the company’s interests
Identifying legal risks and developing strategies to minimize potential liabilities
Conducting risk assessments and implementing policies and procedures to safeguard the company
Managing litigation and dispute resolution processes, either by representing the company in court or coordinating with external counsel
Requirements
Strong understanding of corporate law, industry regulations, and legal precedents
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical, business-oriented solutions
Proficiency in negotiating contracts and resolving disputes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
Capacity to anticipate legal issues and develop proactive strategies to address them
