The ideal candidate's background for the role comes from extensive hands-on experience in managing day to day operation of the entire business, comes from leading a heavy machinery business unit and have a track record of managing the growth of the business and strong leadership capability

Description
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion in Myanmar
Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of operations, including sales, marketing, finance, logistics, and customer service
Market Analysis: Identify market trends, opportunities, and challenges, and develop strategies to capitalize on market potential and mitigate risks
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and government officials
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local regulations, laws, and standards governing business operations
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance and support
Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, financial indicators, and market data to track progress towards goals
Financial Management: Manage financial budgets, resources, and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability
Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
Culture Building: Drive a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organization
Requirements
College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering, Business or related field required. Advanced degree in Business or related field preferred
At least 15 years’ experience in sales, service and operation management working experience including around 10 years of management experience driving a medium-sized business. Prior General Management experience required
Knowledge of emerging-market business development and/or dealers management is desired
Significant experience required, including supervisory, product, customer, and budgetary experience
Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
