Job Description

The Role

Facilitate communication between Chinese-speaking stakeholders and local teams by accurately translating both written documents and verbal exchanges

Description

  • Provide accurate translation services from Chinese to Burmese (and vice versa) in meetings, written documents, and verbal communication

  • Act as a liaison between Chinese-speaking managers and local staff to facilitate clear communication

  • Assist in translating contracts, agreements, and company policies

  • Interpret during site visits, training sessions, and important company events to ensure full understanding among all parties

  • Maintain a glossary of industry-specific terminology and ensure consistency in translation

Requirements

  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and Burmese (proficiency in English is a plus)

  • Prior experience as a translator, preferably in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong understanding of technical and business terminology related to manufacturing

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate cross-cultural communication
