The Role

We are seeking a dynamic COO to lead the transformative journey of overall commercial verticals of the company businesses in the electronic and electrical product categories. The individual brings a wealth of diverse industries experience which enable to optimize the commercials from B2B, B2C settings as well as the aftersales and services functions. Individual who has experience in taking part of the company wide change management and transformative journey to corporate governance with be highly advantages

Our client is a leading Myanmar-based company specialized in electronic and electrical products categories in Myanmar market, has growing presence in power transmission, distribution solutions, after sales and services

Description

  • Lead and manage daily operations across Trading, After-Sales Service, and Production departments

  • Ensure timely delivery of products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations

  • Continuously enhance operational workflows to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high quality standards

  • Monitor departmental performance through well-defined KPIs and drive accountability Collaborate

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define strategic goals and translate them into actionable plans

  • Execute business strategies effectively, adapting global best practices to fit the local Myanmar context

  • Drive initiatives that align with long-term business objectives and market dynamics

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to support business expansion

  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to grow existing business lines and develop new revenue streams

  • Influence pricing strategies, product offerings, and customer engagement models to maximize profitability

  • Lead initiatives to streamline operations and enhance process efficiency

  • Champion cost-reduction and quality-improvement projects using appropriate technologies and systems

  • Ensure operational tools and systems are tailored to local needs and financial constraints

  • Supervise department heads and foster cross-functional collaboration

  • Cultivate a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, respect, and continuous improvement

  • Mentor and support team members to enhance individual and collective performance

  • Identify high-potential employees and nurture future leaders within the organization

  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for local managers to strengthen leadership capabilities

  • Build a sustainable talent pipeline to support long-term business continuity

  • Ensure full compliance with local laws, industry regulations, and internal policies

  • Proactively manage operational risks related to supply chain, labor, safety, and legal matters

  • Liaise with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory requirements

  • Work closely with Finance, HR, Sales, and Quality teams to align operations with business goals

  • Promote open communication and effective problem-solving across departments

  • Resolve cross-functional challenges to maintain seamless operations

Requirements

  •  A bachelor’s degree in business, MBA or any international degree would be highly advantages

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in senior leadership role, experience working in diverse industries particularly in electronic, electrical distribution business, any businesses that have b2b and b2c settings, after sales service functions, production

  • Strong track record of improving operations and leading the team, exposure to international business practices

  • Respect for a local culture with a global mindset
