Description
Develop and implement the bank's financial strategy, aligning it with the institution's goals and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure the bank's financial operations adhere to regulatory standards, accounting principles, and internal policies, maintaining a strong control environment.
and mitigate financial risks, providing insights and recommendations to safeguard the bank's financial health.
Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment, while ensuring financial objectives are met.
Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for earnings calls, management team, and rest of company.
Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors and investors.
Requirements
At least 7 to 10 years of working experience and knowledge in Financial Leadership role especially in financial services sector such as Banking, Microfinance, and other related sectors.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or ACCA or CPA preferred.
Proven track record of successfully leading financial teams and driving strategic financial initiatives.
Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
Native Burmese with a good command in both oral and written knowledge of English
