Chief Accountant at a Beverage Manufacturing Company in Yangon
The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the timely preparation of financial reports
Up to 1,500,000 MMK plus other allowances and benefits

This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of the organization, supporting strategic decision-making, and leading the accounting team to achieve operational excellence
About the Company
Our client company is a beverage manufacturing company in Yangon, known for producing high-quality products that have become household names across the region
Description
Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial reports (Full Set of Account) in accordance with the relevant accounting standards
Analyses revenue and expenditures trends and ensures expenditure control
Complete year-end closing processes and liaise with external auditors on annual audits and realized compliance with governmental tax guidelines
Perform monthly Inventory checks with warehouse
Review cash book transactions to ensure that they are submitted accurately on a timely basis
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
At least 5 years of accounting experience preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector
Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance practices
Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting
