The Role

Manage and administer the compensation and benefits programs of the company, ensuring competitive pay structures, employee benefits, and effective payroll processes

About the Company

Our client company is a leading ship management firm in Yangon, renowned for its comprehensive maritime services, including crew management, technical operations, and compliance with international shipping standards

Description

  • Respond to inquiries from seafarers and their families regarding salary details and social needs

  • Ensure the accuracy of bank details entered the crew payroll system and guarantee timely payments of all balances due to seafarers

  • Conduct month-end closing of ship accounts, and coordinate with internal departments, such as Accounting and Operations

  • Prepare and present monthly payroll analysis reports that highlight key trends, identify discrepancies, and offer recommendations

  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to maintain seamless payroll management and accurate financial records

Requirements

  • A diploma holder with 2 years of experience in C&B, preferred from marine industry

  • Strong knowledge in compensation practices

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential

  • Proficiency in English is necessary
