Responsible for supervising the terminal operation of importing petroleum vessels

Job Description
Plan and coordinate Fuel Import Shipments in compliance with company, MPTA, and regulatory guidelines
Manage international trade negotiations, secure contract agreements, and oversee the approval of import licenses and government payments
Supervise importing vessel schedules, ensuring adherence to import quotas and storage capacity
Facilitate payment approval processes with authorities, banks, and importers, negotiating cargo discharge with suppliers
Generate daily reports on vessel information, berthing, cargo discharge, unberthing, and payment reports, while maintaining relationships with relevant ministries, trade associations, and other stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role and above in the Petroleum industry
Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and IT Knowledge for Business
Knowledge of import/export documentation and compliance requirements, international trade law, regulations and practices
